There are many opportunities for Interns to get school credit at Shadow Lounge & AVA. You may also want to intern to learn a little more about this side of the Music & Entertainment business. We have a few different Intern Positions that need to stay filled year round, even if you can only do it for a quarter or semester. Most of the Intern Postisions hours fall between 10 or 20 Hours a week. Interns will get to see , learn and take part in Interns also earn free access to most of the shows we put on. Assistant to the OM
Learn all the behind the scenes of the business as you’ll work hand in hand with our Operations Manager. Help Maintain the office and assist in the daily tasks of the OM.
Graphic Designer
You will help in creating In-house graphics for flyers and Web Content. Basic Knowledge of Photoshop a plus. Will look great on your resume.
Website/Blog
Responsible for helping Maintain the accuracy of website Calendar /Banners/ and posting of blog content. This Intern Position works closely with The Events Coordinator who is responsible for the booking of the venue. Experience with WordPress a plus, but not necessary.
Video Editor
Intern needed to do very Basic video editing. Primarily making short segments of some of the many shows we have archived and adding titles to them. Can work within whatever program your comfortable using. Final cut or Avid users our a bonus, but Imovie knowledge could get the job done.
Street Team member
Street team interns will be sent out to help distribute flyers and posters to many destinations around the city , as well as work tables at events away from the lounge.
