Were Really Excited about this Project that will be coming through the lounge at the end of January 2012. Just so you guys are ready , heres some audio to wet your whistle.

+FE Music proudly presents the “Shibuya Session EP”, a collaboration between Nicolay and the Raleigh-based exploratory jazz trio The Hot At Nights, led by 8-string guitar virtuoso (and The Foreign Exchange guitarist) Chris Boerner with Matt Douglas on sax/woodwinds and Nick Baglio on drums.

The EP was recorded at Sound Pure Studios in Durham NC and features new interpretations and arrangements of eight instrumental compositions from Nicolay’s 2009 album “City Lights Vol. 2: Shibuya“. DOWNLOAD

At the top of 2012, the collaboration between Nicolay and The Hot At Nights extends to the stage as well. The four musicians will hit the road extensively to perform the “Shibuya Session” material live in an intimate setting. The tour is also in support of The Hot At Night’s current album, “Nice Talk”.
