We knew we had to film the performance by Little Dragon. Most of us considered this one of our biggest shows to date. Historically we’ve recorded a bunch of things, but thats really only half the battle. The next step is to actually get what you recorded in a watchable format and uploaded somewhere on the big wide web so you all can see it. Well I (smi) ended up filming it while the company hired someone to shoot pics and some video . I had already staked out my position as to where i would shoot from, I was determined to not have someone else take a prime shooting spot as has happened in the past. I had noticed a guy with a pretty serious camera and mic earlier in the night, but with all the other chaos surrounding the night i never got a chance to approach him or inquire who/why he was shooting for. After the show though, i did have a chance to talk to him and boy am I glad i did. Not only did we end up exchanging footage and audio, Luke even offered to edit the footage. So big shout out to Luke Wassermann for not only combining his footage with our two feeds, but even tracking down another angle that had already been uploaded to youtube directly after the show. Luke is headed back to Sierra Leone where he has some projects that he’s working on there, but before he did he was able to sync all the footage and turn out two multi cam shots for “Little Man” (encore) and “Brush the Heat” one of the groups darker sounding tracks. Whether your watching these to see what you missed or to remind yourself how great a night it was, we hope you will enjoy the effort that is involved to get them to you. Enjoy!!
